I just feel like dancing
In drinking training for the Newfoundland trip- end of august.
I'm so pumped!
Spent the long weekend in Boston Massive-two-shits, USA
went shopping in quincy market while rex was on set of "grown ups" movie
Scott pilgram movie looks like its gunna be rad- look for the kung fu "DDR- esque" game- cause rex helped make it. RAD.

I am finally a full time stylist at work.
I am now accepting clients 5 days a week.
It taken time- but now im there and all I can say is its exciting.
We finally have the internet back at home, which is convenient.
I love the winter.
All in all things are good.

Yesterday we went to a wedding-it was all performed in Cantonese, I felt like we were on a foreign game show where we had no idea what was going on but everyone was laughing. It was fun!
Today we went mountain biking at Hardwood hills and it was rad.
Is it just me, or do you feel like theres not enough hours in the day to get things done?
I've become messy.

The other morning I was on my way to work and had time to grab a tea from second cup.
So Im at the counter with my bag open- paying for the tea when another worker there tried to hand a large hot black coffee across me to a customer...it slipped right out of her hand and spilled all down the front of me, in my bag and landed all over my bare feet-I was wearing flip flops.
It took a second to sink in, and then I yelled "FUCCCK!" in a coffee shop filled with people rushing over with napkins and ice. what a good start to the day. I didn't even get a free drink.
Finally the salon I work at (formerly The Alan Davis Salon) is under new managment and hopefully back to running smoothly after we were locked out for a week because the previous owners ran the place into the ground and had the government seize their bank accounts and we didn't get paid for at least 2 weeks of work that we did. awesome- I love working for free :(

The other day at work I did get to see the Stanley cup in person because they were bringing it to the Detroit diner on the Danforth which is just below us one store over- of course I know nothing about hockey so I have no idea which Detroit red wing it was- but I was right there.
The only reason im home in the middle of the day on a Friday is because I have strep throat that is contagious, I dislike being sick.
The 27th and 28th Rex and I are going to niagra falls for his skydiving present I got him for x-mas.
We are also going to see Q Avenue in august at the Elgin theater.
I'm going to Montreal in august.
And a group of us are going camping/ to Kathy and takus cabin near the end of august.
Oh the things to look forward to. I'm glad im getting this sickness out of the way. |

February 25th Rex turned 28.
The very next morning we were lying in bed when something caught my eye
"Stay right there! Don't move!" I yelled- as I ran to turn on the light...
and there it was, his very first gray hair.
I think I gave it to him-and not old age. Its now in a box.
I just found out my friend booked a trip for us to Jamaica for a week in April. Nice.
And I'm back in the Salon world as of Tuesday.
I was an AVEDA colour model the other week, which was also fun, who doesn't love free things?
Tomorrow is Spence and Joels apartment warming party-Im so glad to have awesome friends in the city, and in general.

The new year has been good to me so far.
+I love my job+and the people I work with.
+I've also been working with Marlene in the showroom while shes in town- which I love.
+Ruth, who is 65, is also hilarious to work with. my new friend- who occasionally pees her pants.
+This week I passed my driving test and now have my full G.

Instead of January, September has always been my month of a fresh start, a new year fast approaching -On the September 2nd I will be flying to Europe to backpack around for 6 weeks by myself.
I land in London england next stop
Brussels, Belgium
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Düsseldorf, Germany
Bern, Switzerland
Venice, Italy
Naples, Italy
Rome, Italy
Nice, France
Barcelona, Spain
Paris, France
and fly back from London on Oct. 14th.
Im very excited for this opportunity.
